Screen Shake and a Few Tweaks




Changes:

  • Added screen shake when damaged
  • Added screen shake when near a speeding plasma projectile
  • Reworked the way space frogs determine whether they are active or idle
    • This was done in an attempt to reduce lag

Bug fixes: 

  • Fixed screen cracks no longer fading before disappearing
    • Additionally, they now fade even when paused


This was just a quick update to add some small features before I undertake the time consuming issues I outlined in the last log: 

  • High hyperspeed or getting hit by frogs sometimes allows the player to clip through walls
  • The atrocious lighting
  • An overhaul of the soundtrack
    • It's a little too peaceful, and the title theme is YouTube stock
  • The game sometimes thinks that the player is inside the ship when not, and vice versa. 
  • Finishing the cutscenes
    • This will take much longer than anything else, being of lowest priority
